Review on ViewSonic VG2448: The Ergonomic DisplayPort Monitor with Anti-Glare and Widescreen IPS Technology. by Calvin Givins

Great monitor: my review

I've been working from home since March and wanted to upgrade to a 34 inch ultra wide monitor. I've had this monitor for a month now. What I love about this monitor: It's ultra wide so I can have two split screens and see everything clearly. I can easily adjust the monitor up and down. I like this function very much. This is not a glossy screen. My newest monitor has a glossy finish and since my desk has windows, it gets a lot of glare when the sun is out. No more glare! The built in speakers are great, very loud and clear. What I don't like about this monitor: It's not curved. Being 34 inches, it took my eyes a few days to adjust to the extra wide size. I wish I had a curved monitor. But now I'm used to it. The power cord that connects it to the monitor is a little touchy. Sometimes when I move the monitor or move the laptop or cable behind the monitor the screen goes black. I just reach out and touch the connector and the screen comes back on. Just a minor inconvenience. All in all, this is a good monitor and I really like it. However, if I could do it again and buy a different monitor, I would probably buy a curved monitor.
