First impression straight out of the box, this screen has an incredible picture. I've looked at and tried five or six other ultra widescreen monitors and this one has by far the best picture in this price range. Everything is fine. The only negative part I have to say is that the base or the stitching doesn't align very well. With a screen this long/wide, a slightly misaligned angle can have a large difference in height from the left to the right corner. Otherwise I would give 5 stars

Two issues make my Viewsonic VG2448-H2 dual monitor purchase deeply disappointing. I bought these two monitors from Triplenet Pricing INC on Revain because they are advertised with Display Port (DP) connectors, which is required for them to be daisy chained. . Upon unpacking, I found that each has only one DP connector and cannot be daisy-chained. This restriction must be stated in the product description. I like that I can work with multiple windows and see them well. I also like that I can rotate the screen for large documents. The only complaint I have is with the speaker volume; I need a perfectly quiet room to hear these speakers even at maximum volume.

This is a very good monitor with a clear, high quality picture. The size is good and I like the ability to rotate and pivot the monitor when setting up a multi-monitor situation. I was a little frustrated that there was no DVI input (since one of my computers has a DVI output but no HDMI output), but I got over it. The stand is also a good size. I initially had trouble connecting the monitor to my new MacBook Air, but I figured it out. I got a Hiearcool USB-C multiport adapter and a 1ft HDMI cable and they worked straight away. The screen on this monitor is huge and beautiful. The swivel base and very easily adjustable settings are just a dream. It fits so well in my limited desk space. Highly recommended for Mac users. Very happy with the purchase.

I've been using the Viewsonic VG2448 ergonomic monitor for about a week and I'm very happy with it. Setup was pretty easy. I usually read written instructions, but this time I watched the unboxing video on YouTube. Quite easy. The picture quality is better than my old monitor - actually an 8 year old monitor so that's probably not surprising. What I really like is that I can easily move the monitor so I can look at it comfortably. This is definitely an update for me.

In case you weren't paying attention, high quality desktop monitors have gotten a lot cheaper in the past few years. A few years ago IPS displays were too expensive for most home users, so we went for TN displays with lower contrast, poorer color reproduction and narrower viewing angles at a much lower price. It is very agile - it turns left to right, moves up and down and even tilts. A big plus when using a second screen with a laptop/surface of different heights.

If you want to connect this monitor to your Mac Mini, please check the cables first! I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to drown out the "No Signal" message.
