Review on ViewSonic VG2448: The Ergonomic DisplayPort Monitor with Anti-Glare and Widescreen IPS Technology. by David Liu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice screen though. in my view

. stupid packaging. I believe there are two sheets of paper for documentation, not sure what the issue is because one of them has several sentences in almost every language other than Hebrew, don't think they mean anything to anyone. The "green" 24" monitor in the box is smaller than my brother's 21" Viewsonic. It protects the monitor quite well. Almost every "documentation" is a seal on the box itself. little arrow, you can skip this (don't say a word with it) your direction to open the box. 3 or 4 simple drawings are not enough to really get the job done. I wanted to keep the monitor shipping box without tearing it apart. Also, I had to ask someone else to find out. The only thing worse I've seen is those thick pieces of plastic, so much material that needs to be cut to get to your product. My brother's Viewsonic had a built in carry handle which is very obvious and easy to use. my box? I finally found the handles. Well, brother didn't have to adjust anything, everything was fine right away. Now all I have to do is figure out what those 5 buttons next to the power button do, even if it doesn't identify it. Tilt/cable management, pivoting, and adjustable monitor height are nice, but you'll have to figure them out. I think he has speakers somewhere. I wanted to use the HDMI(?) port, but I need someone to connect because I can't do it myself. You need to connect it upside down and backwards (it is on the back of the monitor, good for hanging). Wall but awkward and awkward for me.. It looks good and seems to work well but needs a bit more documentation to help even those who know what they're doing.
