Review on 🚦 Dorman 923-206 Center High Mount Stop Light for Ford / Mazda Models by Chris Destruction

It replaced the factory brake light on my 1999 Ford F-350 Super Cab. The old one turned yellow and cracked. I wonder why it took me so long to replace it other than I thought any replacement would be expensive but this non-OEM unit was affordable and looked good. Pads I've read other reviews about this so I bought a rubber grommet from a big store and used it around this new unit before installing it. When I did a dry fit I found that the gasket that came with it might be fine, but I didn't want to risk water ingress if it didn't seal well. You might consider using a slightly thicker pad there. All the bulbs that came with it worked perfectly and the wire connector worked great with the factory wiring harness so it was a perfect match. Gasket issue aside, I like it better than the factory unit. it just seems like it's going to take longer. The time will show.
