I use this as my everyday tablecloth in my dining room. That looks great. I can't say vinyl. The smell of plastic wasn't strong, but it was crumpled. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about this, but it's an easy fix! I put the tablecloth in the dryer for about 4 minutes on steam refreshment. No steam setting? Toss it with a damp towel over medium-high heat. Just check it every minute or so. It turned out perfect with no creases or damage. I've had it on my desk for over a month now and it's easy to clean too.
