I bought these bottles to mix base oils with essential oils for myself, friends and family. You are perfect for the job. Reliable quality, no leakage, easy to open but stay closed. These bottles are not translucent - they are matte. So you can see through them a bit, but not clearly. I can see color (even subtle differences in color) and texture (viscosity). The slightly "matte" (I don't know what else to say) quality makes it easy for me to read the words as I write directly on the bottle. They are neither hard nor flexible, but right in the middle. They can be squeezed and the sides dent easily, but they're not flimsy - you can't mash them with your hand. From all angles, these bottles do the job. Nothing fancy but great price for good quality.
