I was wary because I never wore loafers and figured if I walked all night every night they would chafe on the toes of my toes. But they didn't. They fit great. There are elastic bands on both sides where the lace tongue should be. They are very comfortable, have a nice soft rebound in the healing area and are damn slip resistant. I'm a huge Merrell fan and have worn five pairs of hiking shoes to work in the last 18 months, but they just weren't slip-proof enough or as durable as I thought (unlike my timeless Merrell running shoes). hiking shoes) so I if for Mocs and I'm very, very happy.
