Review on Amoysanli Kitchen Canisters Vintage Airtight by Tania Swenson

I like it. - Kitchen & Dining

When I saw a photo of an old Amoysanli Kitchen Canisters ceramic food storage container with a sealed lid for tea, coffee, herbs, sugar, spices, nuts (old green), thought I only ate to order his. Something of a beautiful green color drew me in. When it arrived it looked exactly like the pictures. To my surprise, my husband also really likes the look of this jar (which is odd as we never agree on anything). The jar has a very tight lid into which a gauze fabric is glued. . don't tear it off it has a function. This creates a really great seal when the jar is closed, it helps keep the lid in place (otherwise I think it would pop off too easily) and also allows for a very quiet opening and closing of the jar. If you're trying to steal a (small) cookie without anyone hearing, this jar is for you! I haven't decided what I'm going to use it for yet. It's a little less than I would like for something like sugar or a pastry. I keep them in large containers so I can fill them up and throw the bag away. I might just use this as a really attractive little jar to hold packets of sweetener or something. It's either that or I'll put dog treats near my front door. In fact, it's so beautiful and versatile that you can use it for almost anything. With no lid, it even makes a lovely little flower pot or tiny vase. I definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
