Great purchase for our three legged dog

Last year we moved into a one story house with hardwood floors. What wasn't a problem at first gradually became a problem: our three-legged dog, who was missing his right hind leg (I'll explain at the end), had difficulty walking/running, especially after getting up off the ground. Age and minor trauma contribute to reduced mobility and traction. Over time we've added a few rugs, which is very helpful. We originally bought medium socks for our 55 lb terrier. They were too tight so we decided to try bigger ones. Works very well even if only used on the hind leg. From time to time it rotates and needs to be adjusted. Of course, all dogs are different; The more active the animal, the sooner the sock turns over. Very long nails will tear the sock over time. If they get dirty, they end up in the washing machine. I would recommend them to everyone. If they don't work, it may be because of the wrong size. Now a little story about the bitch: She was hit by a train. Yes, train! She was taken to a local animal shelter where a veterinarian miraculously saved her life. She was a skinny, drawn mess. After several weeks of looking for the owners at the shelter, no one contacted us and we adopted them. She was someone's dog because she listened and behaved from the start. We tend to think she ran away because someone was in the area or the owner feared he was in charge of medical care. Our life is better because of her and she has a wonderful life too. In any case, I hope the review is helpful and people find the history of the dog interesting.
