Last year we moved into a one story house with hardwood floors. She was taken to a local animal shelter where a veterinarian miraculously saved her life. She was a skinny, drawn mess. After several weeks of looking for the owners at the shelter, no one contacted us and we adopted them. She was someone's dog because she listened and behaved from the start. We tend to think she ran away because someone was in the area or the owner feared he was in charge of medical care. Our life is better because of her and she has a wonderful life too.
