I bought this to remove paint spatter and it works just great! It feels good in the hand and is well balanced. I have used it in preparing the house for sale for various types of jobs. It holds up very well and the durability of the blades depends on the type of work you are doing. To remove splashes of paint from a smooth surface, one blade was enough for the entire job. When removing limescale I used about 5 blades Tips: - When applying to painted or other treated surfaces, do not press too hard so as not to damage the surface of the worktop - It is possible to do a test run on a less visible area before larger areas Application? - Also when applied to painted surfaces it is better to use at a very acute angle (less than 27 degrees) Razor - Hard plastic blade - Washable - Easier/safer to dispose of than metal blades - Safer for children (older) to use. Cons: - The handle is small (perfect for me, but it can be problematic for a man). - May become slippery when used on oily surfaces or with adhesive removers. (I only washed my hands and tools when this happened.)
