I've learned my lesson in the past trying to get authentic products from Revain (like Foundation) where counterfeit products are rampant, but after buying this for years from Sephora and then Bought this from Revain I thought it was the real deal product. The PTR Glycolic Cleanser is the only one that has been proven to give real results on my skin. I get hormonal acne even in my 40's and this product always does a great job of clearing my skin while improving the overall appearance of my skin. Be careful with other products that can cause skin irritation. (e.g. a topical acne medication) since any product with glycolic acid can cause even mild irritation. I actually mix it up and jump back and forth between this and something softer as it suits me better when I need it. Don't be put off by the price. Not only is the efficiency worth it, but very little that each use travels a long way, so you're ready for the long haul.
