I had my doubts but after 3 kids I'm more worried about my stomach than ever and I usually wear clothes that cover my stomach but it's not one of those skirts you hide. BUT I was pleasantly surprised at how this skirt suits me! I think it fits as they say, I bought a size up because I was so worried about the tummy area, but I can see the suggested size would be perfect. It comes with a strap and the strap is elastic and comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase.
