Review on 🌱 The Humble Co Natural Bamboo Toothbrushes: Your Eco-Friendly Oral Care Solution by Abby Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Eco-friendly but NOT cruelty-free thanks to DuPont accessories.

I need a new brush and am looking for one that is eco-friendly, sustainable, uses recycled materials to make products, has flammable packaging, is cruelty-free to animals and is practical for work practices, has full Transparency to its customers who work, are affordable, sell in countries that mandate animal testing in ways other than pharmaceuticals (unfortunately only because every country has so far had that requirement) or employ unfair/poor labor practices, etc. It fits with many of these points, but -- **** BECAUSE they source their nylon bristles from DuPont, they are not 100% cruelty-free. For a product review. The packaging is beautiful. The quality of the handle is really good, durable bamboo, I haven't researched this company enough to make sure it's made the best way or where they get their bamboo from etc. The bristles definitely need some work, they're really tough nylon . I ordered medium. Has a small area with bristle coverage so expect brushing to take longer, may also need to add a second round of toothpaste, I don't know if it's bristle size or nylon or what dissolves the paste quickly but will have to for now I make an application with double use. Don't go if you're like me and animal cruelty is top priority alongside other earth/universe/human save points. Update: Got used to the stubble. No need to apply a second round of paste, I just don't add water before brushing now that the paste is on the brush. The stubble is fine, now I know not to press at all. Finally, in order not to waste $ since they are compostable, I will use another company because they come from DuPont, and also not going into a few other points I want to cover in the realm of saving the world to speak.
