Installation went pretty smoothly and noticed a difference in direct sunlight. Nighttime quality, however, dropped to just under 480p on my q800pro in terms of quality and graininess. I cannot keep this filter installed on my camera. Very bright street signs and building signs are illegible, let alone license plates. Compared to the crappy video quality caused by the cpl filter, I will struggle with a bit of glare. Unfortunately, I like all Thinkware products very much. This one was a failure for me.
