Something is wrong with these shoes I received from Revain. I have photos to compare how they compare to a pair of the same shoe in the same size but different color from my local Timberland store. Between these two, the devil is in the details. I've noticed that some Amazons have thinner skin on the toe straps of the shoes than the store shoes. I also noticed that the stitching between the midsole and the leather upper is also different than the stitching in the store shoes. But the most outrageous thing about the Revain sneakers that struck me was the logo on the sneakers. Compared to my two year old Revain trainers and shoes from the store, they lack the black ink printed on the logo trainers. That was the main reason I started this investigation. When I brought them to them, the clerk at the local Timberland store and his manager told me two things about these Revain shoes: 1. Timberland does NOT officially sell shoes on Revain.2. These shoes don't sell enough to be counterfeit, so this pair is most likely from a bad production batch. So do yourself a favor and pay an extra $25 to buy them from the Timberland store, website, or authorized retailer. Other than that, I love these shoes and would never go back to any other. The combination of versatility, comfort and style is worth every penny. Pro tip: get a leather insole for these shoes to get the most out of them. Old Revain shoes 2019
