Review on πŸ“Έ SMALLRIG Universal Aluminum Side Handle Grip for DSLR Camera Cage: Essential Tool with Cold Shoe Mount & 1/4 Threaded Holes - HSS2425 by Hugh Starr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good grip fits the cage and for large hands.

I'm a small rig fan. I used to be confused, but I've recently bought several hundred dollars worth of stuff. This is one of the pens I am returning. It was good for my hands, the price was good, total length 4 1/4 inches, width. 1/7/8". It was like holding a shovel, although it was rectangular in shape with nicely curved edges. I prefer the look of wood, but if you like the look of brushed metal, then this one might To be a winner. How it feels in the hand is very subjective when you think about the nuances. On a scale of 1 to 10 I thought it would be an 8.5? Again, pure subjectivism and opinion. You'll probably only get a 1 ( pair) get pens so it's not like buying shoes for different occasions I'm using a Panasonic GH5 that I've prepared and the ability to turn it into a hybrid camera Video/Photo 80/20 Me have a photo of my orange gloved hand, home depot oversized gloves for reference. Here are my thoughts on the product. I do not own the product, just ordered it, taped it to my camera and spent 5 minutes on it. Build Quality: Excellent workmanship ing quality, very comfortable Nato guide, good non-slip padding. Ergonomics: Large, comfortable nato, detachable grip to put in a small camera bag. Tall rectangular, rounded edge 3/8"? The front and back profile is nicely curved. Who it's for: Bigger hands, heavier cameras that need extra length to hold or grasp. This would be a great choice if you do that Want to grab setup with a single grip that accepts a wrist strap General Thoughts Once you have a heavier camera (gh5 or any other dslr) with a heavier lens and doo-dads it gets more cumbersome to keep it safe, so I'm holding prefer a firm grip to a light touch Anyone with a large hand/large or medium weight camera or film rig Smaller hands and lighter setups may prefer a smaller grip I like wooden grips purely from an aesthetic point of view.
