I need small springs of different lengths and good strength to fix an electrical slip ring in a rotating stand. OK, it's not clear. LOL This kit came in a variety of lengths and diameters which allowed me to test different options. I ended up finding one that was big enough to stow, small enough to fit in, and long enough to apply enough force at 50% compression. My only suggestion would be to somehow mark the compression force of the spring in ounces, pounds, or N. If they were too light, they wouldn't work. Accuracy is better than luck.
