Review on 🧵 Brother SE600 Sewing and Embroidery Machine: 80 Designs, 103 Stitches, Computerized, LCD Touchscreen, 4x4 Hoop, 7 Included Feet by Summer Hendricks

First of all I have been sewing for about 30 years. I have a Viking 1+ that I bought brand new in the 1990's. Back then it was top notch and very expensive. But I didn't like embroidery. I never had any luck with it, the thread tangled and snapped and it was just a mess. Fast forward to the present and now I have two granddaughters who love dresses. I've had health issues since the early 2000's and sewing was the last thing I wanted to do. Since then I've had a few surgeries and I feel fine. I've been wanting to try machine embroidery again, but Viking is outdated. I've been thinking about buying another Viking, but after doing my research, I read so many negative reviews (I checked out Viking Jade) that I just couldn't imagine paying the money. Viking price. I have bought Brother machines for my daughters in the past but they have been cheap, basic machines. They never seemed to last very long. So I was very apprehensive about buying this one. Let me tell you I'm pleasantly surprised. This car sucks. I have made sundresses with matching pockets for my granddaughters, small zippered bags for sewing supplies and many things for the hospital's neonatal unit that one of my nurse friends asked me to make. (And yes, I also work full-time in an office). I've only had it for a few weeks and it's in training. I'm preparing To make zippered tote bags for me and my sister-in-law with embroidered initials in a tropical theme. Embroidery. She does an excellent job. I love that you can use the included embroidery patterns as well as downloadable schemes from the internet. I confess I haven't done it yet, small steps. I sincerely recommend this machine if you are new to sewing or an experienced person like me.
