Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

The laptop caught fire, and there was an immediate need to purchase a replacement that may cost between 50,000 and 60,000 dollars. After trying out the lenovo ideapad 5 14, with its 4300u processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 512 GB solid-state drive, I decided to go with that model rather than the acer swift 3 with its 4500u processor and 256 GB of storage space (which would have cost 57 thousand rupees with a discount). P. S. For work (texts, surfing, and simple games), a computer with 4300u and 8 GB of RAM is more than sufficient (before to that, there was a computer with a celeron n 4100 and 4 GB of RAM; I didn't experience any difficulties with those specifications, but the new one is over twice as fast). P. I purchased it for 48.6k (with Windows 10); nearly another 5,000 should come back in points. The answer is cash back.

Pros
  • IPS with a margin of brightness (compared to many competitors) and without PWM, 512 GB solid-state drive (and there is a slot for the second one), 8 GB of RAM, a good processor (enough for everything with a margin, except for heavy games and any graphics processing), full-fledged usb-c (you can charge a laptop through it, you can use it as a display port), there is a card reader, quiet (during office work, the fans
Cons
  • Although the color spectrum is limited, virtually all laptops in this price range (and even those priced more) include this feature. The viewing angles are not optimal, but they do not in any way impede the worker's performance. It works well for work (writing) or surfing, but it is not likely to be ideal for tasks involving photographs. The husband's wife commented that the word appears to her to have too much space between the letters (smoothing is turned on, the scale is at 100%). Prior to that, there was also a 14-inch FHD display, but they state that despite having a glossy screen, it worked better there; perhaps this factor plays a role. Because my laptop crashed, I am unable to do a live comparison. When I am typing in Python code, I do not experience any difficulties.
