There are no complaints about the kit, just my silly mistakes!

Totally satisfied with this set! F138 is non-porous and single flare plugs are great for stretching. Besides, aren't they beautiful? :) I've made some silly mistakes along the way, and I hope you can learn from them! I started with a regular 18G piercing when I was 13. I bought this set and stretched it to the last 10MM (00G). While stretching to 6MM (2G) for 6 weeks, I decided to try my luck and see if I could skip 8MM (0G) and go straight to 10MM (00G). After inserting the first 10mm cone, I felt a sharp pain and started bleeding (which shouldn't happen with a sprain). I immediately treated it with sea salt and it healed quickly. Lesson learned! More than two years later I achieved a glass stretch of 12mm (1/2 inch). For a while, I didn't plan on doing any more stretching. Two months at 12mm thinking I was cured I bought acrylic plugs which I thought looked good. . Surprise! I had an infection. My earlobes were swollen, sore, and there was discharge. I had to get an antibiotic from my doctor and not wear jewelry for a while. Within a week of no jewelry in my ear, I'm not kidding, the holes reduced to 10g. I was disappointed because it took me so long to stretch to 12mm, but also grateful that my ears were able to heal. I've heard that 6-8mm is the point of no return, but everyone is different! I give credit to my long stretching process. A year later I decided to stretch again. I had to buy another stretching kit because I lost most of the first one. I'm back to 10mm and moving to 11mm (7/16") in a couple of weeks. I'm fine now! My stretching process was waiting for the right time, popping out the old pegs, a hot shower (it helps!), cleaning and massaging ears, going out and inserting the cone with jojoba oil, then immediately inserting the plug.My daily care consisted of washing the plugs and ears daily and massaging the jojoba oil. Some don't sleep with them Plugs turned on at some point but I had to. I heal very quickly. Can I give you some unsolicited advice? If you change size, try putting the cones and plugs back into their appropriate pocket. I have most of lost mine because I didn't. This will save you from buying another set. PLEASE take your time stretching, skip sizes and don't wear cones for decoration! There are tons of guides and tips out there outside! I got lucky with my stupid mistakes and didn't do it. Doesn't hurt my ears. Be careful and good luck! screeds! :D
