previous review is correct. It's a tiny Dutch oven, about the size of a toy, but if you're looking for a cheap mini cocotte maker, this is it. I refuse to pay over $30 for 1 cocotte maker just because of the brand name. It's heavy cast iron (I weighed 2.2 pounds). It's not enameled, but I prefer it to the enameled cast iron. It measures 4 inches in diameter not counting the handles. It's about 2.8 inches deep not including the lid. I plan to buy more in the future to make a full 4 piece set. I plan to make baked mini macaroni with cheese and baby sprinkles inside. Baked eggs and muesli are also suitable for this.
