I bought this and have been using it for about six months. I haven't had any problems or issues with it. I read a lot of reviews that it makes a loud noise, breaks quickly, that it is generally garbage. Nothing like this happened to me, it worked fine from day one and worked 24/7 for 6 months. One negative reviewer said it broke quickly, but he also said he turned it off when not in use and turned it on when he needed it and that he did it daily. Guys, that's a bad idea. It's no good turning this thing on and off all the time, you're just wasting his life doing it. I paid $24.99 for mine and the price went up to $39.99, I wouldn't have paid $40+tax for it if I really didn't need it. The blue light on this thing is pretty intense at night in the bedroom, so keep that in mind. You can stick tape over the light strips to hide this if you wish, but remember that if the blue light goes out the element is not working properly and will need to be replaced, so be aware.
