Revain once downvoted this review because he was accused of doing something wrong. Let me give some context. I am a private detective and a freelance journalist. What I did with this camera was illegal or heinous, so this review does not break any rules. I have spent a lot of time with this product and this was my unbiased opinion and recommendation based on my experience with this device! I was blown away by the versatility of this camera and its incredibly sturdy construction. The instructions were well written and easy to understand. I tested this camera in extreme conditions that it was not designed for and it performed very well. Withstands both high and low temperatures with ease. I don't recommend trying this, but it was accidentally dropped into a water fountain. Luckily, I was able to quickly restore it, turn it off, and remove the SD card. I let it dry for 24 hours expecting it to die but both the camera and SD card were fine. It has been tested with 10 different brands and brands of 128GB SDXC Micro SD card. It has worked with every brand of card I have installed in it including Samsung, SanDisk, PNY, Gigastone, Kingston, Adata and Lexar. I have only tested it with SDXC Micro SD Pro+, Extreme, Elite and/or Evo+ card versions. The reason I tested it with so many different brands was to help you know for sure which one you choose, if I list it here it will work well. I am not recommending any brand, just telling you which one has worked for me. I liked the location of the micro SD card slot just above the USB port, which is protected by a cover. Sound pickup could have had a slightly better range, but a better microphone would be difficult to fit into the device. The ability to switch between audio and video was a huge bonus. It had exceptional battery life for the 550mAh polymer lithium battery installed in it. I was able to get about 2 1/2 hours of 1080p video recording with this battery. Audio recording doesn't consume as much battery so it lasts much longer. I've charged the camera over 200 times in the month I've been testing it and so far haven't noticed any battery degradation. She recorded flawlessly in 720p and 1080p resolutions. It also worked well in low light conditions. My only issue with this camera was the placement of the LED light. Its current location may inadvertently expose the device to the person you are lawfully recording or interviewing. The LED must be somewhere out of sight. Even at his current location, the subject will find it difficult to see him due to the dim LED. I believe that's why it was designed to use a lower brightness LED. The object has to be above you for you to notice that it's blinking for some reason, e.g. B. due to low battery. This was one of the best spy cameras I have ever used in its price range. On the outside, this may seem a bit simple, but that's how it's supposed to be. Overall, this camera performed admirably in the month I tested prior to writing this review.** Again, it was used for private investigation and only in single party consent states. Everything about this review was perfectly legal. I was really blown away by it and felt compelled to write and fight for this review. This is in no way against Revains policy.
