Easy Cheezy Programming! These WORK GREAT giving you Rider 1 and Rider 2 features

These key fobs worked great with our 2003 Yukon XL. A few notes: you do NOT need a working key fob to program them, just a working regular key. They came with dead "cheap Chinese" batteries, so make sure you have some fresh Energizer CR2032 batteries and replace the batteries first (the back cover just snaps off). When programming keyfobs, you must have BOTH keyfobs operational in one session. 1. Get in the truck with new key fobs, close all doors. 2. Press and hold the UNLOCK button on the driver's door, then put the key in the ignition and turn it to the ON position (truck won't start, just turn the key to the ON position), then OFF, then ON and OFF again. The door locks will go through the key fob programming mode. 3. Release the door release button and the locks will work again. 4. On key fob #1, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously until you hear the door lock cycle. Be patient - this may take 15-30 seconds or more, but no more than 100 seconds. Just hold down the key fob buttons and wait until you hear those locks click. 5. Once the door locks for key fob #1 are locked, put it aside and take key fob #2, hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time and wait another 15 to 100 seconds for the door locks to relock. Move the second FOB. 6. Once both remote controls are programmed, turn the ignition key back to ON, then OFF, then open the driver's door. 7. Try keychains. The first one you programmed will be registered to unlock the car for DRIVER 1 and the second will be registered to unlock the car for DRIVER 2. Great!
