This gas detector has saved us thousands of dollars. After a "professional" leak detection service couldn't find a leak in our gas line, I bought one and filled our line with BBQ propane at 5psi for six hours, found it myself and was able to fix the leak without replacing our entire dungeon. line (which is really long). The meter has a very cheap plastic case but comes in a nice case, the sensor works well and the interface is easy to use. I recommend moving the sensor slowly as it takes some time to react and look at the meter instead of listening to the alarm (which defaults to 500ppm) and you can find and locate very small leaks, much smaller than you can smell nose. Would buy again without hesitation, also helped me find a tiny leak in my oven faucet.
