Has a narrow pocket opening, I like bags that open wide so you can see all of the contents. But you can dive a bit in search of your stuff. The size of the bag isn't as big as I was hoping and it seems the less stuff you have here the better because it's so dark and cramped that it's difficult to find your stuff. The material isn't very good, it bends easily, you can tell it's not very good quality and it's not as strong/well textured as it looks in the picture. It stands up but can tip over easily, I have a shipping dent and if you touch it the bag tips over. Based on my experience with this type of bags, I also wonder if it will peel off in 6 months or a year. I can imagine it looking old and worn after a few months but I doubt it will be of good quality after a year. The pocket is quite small, good enough to just hold the cards. The handles of the handbag are not adjustable and small, so it is difficult to put it on the shoulder, which I don't like. It's best to use the long strap that comes with it, but sometimes you prefer more security by using the shoulder straps. Inside the bag there are 3 slots, the middle one has a zipper. There is also a small zippered pocket on the inner wall of the wallet, as well as several small pockets on the other inner wall. There is also a small pocket on the outside on one side. I needed an everyday bag with no frills and no expectation that it would last more than a year, it looks good, it serves my purpose well. That doesn't mean it's a bad bag, to be honest, but these few little things would be enough for me to try another black bag on Amazon. If you don't mind those missteps, you'll probably like the bag as much as many, so it really comes down to personal preference.
