I started Pilates and didn't know anything about the socks they wear but you have to wear them so I figured I'd buy a pair that would last and be of good quality. One day I was in class, I stood on the reformer and pushed the seat back, trying to get into a hunched position, and my feet slipped. I couldn't control myself. Really sucks because the whole class was useless because I couldn't get the positions/movements right. Unfortunately, they lasted about a month before the rubber velcro strap on the bottom lost its grip. I hand washed them as recommended but I don't think it made much of a difference. The rubberized sticky dots on the bottom are still there (not worn off), but they've just stopped being sticky. I thought it would happen over time but not in a month. I bought other socks (different brand). A few pairs from Revain and a few pairs from the studio and the rubber on the bottom still works fine. I'm really disappointed because this is probably one of the most expensive Pilates socks - and for the price they're asking, they have to be the best. Lesson learned - just because something costs a little more doesn't necessarily mean it's better quality :(
