Installed with no problems but vibrated severely. The included fan blades have been removed and the old/original blades from the old motor have been used, greatly improving the balance. Not quiet, of course, but neither was the old man who was beginning to turn with difficulty.

2 of the 3 replacement motors I ordered were defective. The 2 motors were very noisy and one of the fan blades was unbalanced. There must be some kind of quality control for this product! You also need to pack the fan blade better. It's at the top of the box, so it's more prone to damage during shipping. I do not recommend this product.

Fit was good but the fan "pitch" was much smaller than the original. Mainly because of this, he moved so little air that he could hardly open the exhaust flaps over the fan blades. Replacing the included fan with an original fan that fits great really helped. It works well enough; You don't have to do this, so we'll see how it takes. A better choice might be a real Broan motor and just reuse your fan.

I had to cut the connector, strip the insulation from two wires, then use nuts to connect this fan. The first photo shows that the old fan is still installed. The second photo from the left shows the new motor I got from Lowes, the only one they brought with them. The middle engine is a new engine. Bought to fix an old Fasco bathroom wall fan. The old engine simply said 686 and nothing more. Presumably this is a replacement for this model (among others).
