Honestly, I'm a huge Rockport fan and have been buying them for years. Then, over the last year or two, my legs started to hurt. I also bought a brand new pair of Rockports and after a few months the outsole started to peel off and the shoe started falling apart. The quality of Rockports seems to have gone down, down, down! I was confused because I wasn't sure any other shoe would be as comfortable on my feet as the Rockports (in the past). Enter the Escalade Clarks for men! OMG, once I put them on my feet didn't hurt anymore. The soles are such that there may be signs of wear in the future but I don't expect the soles to ever come loose after wearing them 3 times. To be honest I would like to update this review in a few months because if these shoes last I will be buying more pairs! I doubled the price of this shoe for another shoe thinking I was getting quality but I didn't. This shoe definitely feels premium and premium! You can't go wrong with this shoe!
