Review on Keyboard Microsoft Ergonomic for Business black, English by Micha Ambroziak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

In the spring of 2022, I purchased this keyboard in addition to the Macbook Air M1, with which the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic kit for some reason operated incredibly buggy - keystrokes, mouse movements, and other activities slowed down. I was never able to determine the reason why, in the end, I decided to get this one, which is the wired version. Since then, there have been no complaints; it functions, and I believe that it will continue to function for a very long time. If you are interested in trying out ergonomic keyboards, MS is the industry leader in this regard.

Pros
  • + The traditional layout seen on MS ergonomic keyboards + The price, which makes it appear to be the least expensive ergonomic keyboard on the market + The quality of the wrist rest, which is composed of a material that is comfortable plus A stand for a keyboard that uses magnets, a cable holder that is integrated into the cable itself, and the removal of the unnecessary (in my opinion) slider that was located in the center of the MS Ergonomic 4000 are all welcome additions. It was a waste of time and merely collected dirt and debris.
Cons
  • - The button for accessing the context menu has been replaced with completely unsightly additional emoji and office launch buttons that are located under the right hand. To start Microsoft Office, anyone who is able to touch type can just press the Win key, then type "word," and hit the Enter key. When compared to the speed at which the application can be downloaded, the difference in speed caused by using a single button is negligible. However, the level of annoyance that results from pressing this button by accident is exceptionally high. These buttons lose all significance when you use the keyboard with MacOS, and they cannot even be changed to an other function. - Loud buttons. Slightly less noisy than the MS Ergonomic 4000, but only slightly. The noise from the buttons can be disruptive to anyone who is asleep in the immediate vicinity. - In my opinion, it is preferable to have a separate panel for the numeric keypad. I am implying that this is significant to some individuals, but I cannot say that I have ever made use of it and would welcome the availability of a version that does not include it so that I can free up more room on my desktop.
