Pros and Cons of TongLi Build a Track - ETC343Pros: - Has a pull-out box to put items back in. I wish more companies would do this. - Track already assembled in sections. - Track is easy to put together. - The car easily and smoothly runs on the track.Cons: - Tiny screw (easy to lose) holds the battery case, requiring a tiny screwdriver. - Instructions aren’t in English (but still fairly easy to assemble without).Star Rating: - 4.5 stars. Fun to play with, but one half-star was removed for instructions not being in English and the extra effort required to change the battery.Other Notes: - The car takes a AA battery that is not included. - The signs are tiny with small bases. While they stand OK on flat hard floors, getting them to stand on a carpet or uneven surfaces may be challenging. - While the track is easy to assemble, your mile may vary with the bridges. - I haven’t tried this with the other sets I’ve purchased but read another review (by lalalauren) that stated that this track is not compatible with the track of other sets. If this is true, it (for me) is a major downfall of this product. All the other sets I’ve bought from other manufacturers use the same standard type of track, making it easy to build enormous displays.I’ve been collecting units like the TongLi Build a Track to build a massive "Jurassic Park” display eventually. But even as a stand-alone, this product is fun to play with because of the many ways you can use the tracks and how smoothly the car runs around the track. I’ve used several of these types of these products, and I found the car in this one to be one of the best as far as how smoothly it runs around the track.One thing that really impressed me about this particular build-a-track product is that it comes with a pull-out box. This may seem like a minor thing, but it is A LOT easier to get the track/props/etc. into a pull-out box than trying to dump them in just the product box.
