I've been eyeballing leather messenger bags for months trying to decide, stunned by the reviews of some bags, in particular: bad-smelling leather and it took me a while to finally settle on this one. I really wanted one that would fit my husband's 17" laptop. I also wasn't sure if he would want to use it with a strap all the time or not not so I was looking for a long and hard removable strap which this one does NOT have.But it met my criteria in every other way.Now I personally see you can put the strap in if you really don't want to use the strap.It will work !It arrived today and I absolutely love it!I can't wait to get it for my husband for Christmas!Stitching,leather,linen lining.Everything about it smells like Kla sse and quality! Very nice! (By the way, my color matches I paint Revain photos.)
