I'm the kind of person who redesigns and fixes every few months. This laser is perfect for this purpose! In the last 2 weeks I have hung 6 frames shown in the picture, 4 canvas squares, 2 rows of 6-piece cork sheets, a shelf and 3 wall mirrors. If I had this laser for 5 years my house would have significantly fewer holes in the walls and my life would be more relaxed! Upon receipt, just insert 3 AAA batteries, turn it on and you're ready to level up. The base is included or can be mounted on a tripod using the built-in leveling nut. The green laser cross is bright and clearly visible from across the room. Self-alignment only takes a few seconds, but I found it a bit sensitive to corners. The crossed line will flash and a red indicator on the side of the laser will indicate when it is not straight to prevent accidental hanging at an angle. I would highly recommend and wish I had booked sooner! The Ibroo Laser Level is the best gift for a housewarming or New Year! I mean I would love to get it as a gift for decorating or my many DIY projects! I drew strips at home, do you have any idea how difficult it is not to have a laser level?!
