I love these little things! The first time I saw him was at a fundraiser I went to where little treats were being served to the guests. I had a sick little dog at the time and had to give her medication SIX times a day! I IMMEDIATELY saw the use of this little bowl. Before I continue, let me just say that they make nice little plates for small bites too, so let's stick to their original purpose LOL! I still have three of the original four that I stole from the hotel. Yes, I stole them. I don't even regret it. (They threw them away anyway, which I found embarrassing.) Mom and I went and collected four of them, dried and washed them in the powder room, and hid them in our purses. These are AMAZING pill dispensers and bullet dispensers! My small dog does NOT fall in love with meds hidden in treats. She eats the treat from all sides and spits out the pill (little rascal!). So I crush her pill, add some water and put it in a test tube along with some water. I used to use lots of slips of paper or a spoon, which always made a mess. BUT - these small bowls with their "spout" are IDEAL for dosing liquid into a small tube! I also do beaded kumihimo braids as a hobby. These little plates are PERFECT for holding all the beads and distributing them where I need them. I bet the designer of these little plates NEVER thought about it, otherwise this company would be selling them to medical institutions too! They're really strong too. Three years and I'm still using the originals. I bought more because one ripped at the bottom when I pushed it VERY hard and I was worried I might run out of 3. I thought I was being careful with them and even considered going back to the hotel to see if they would sell me more. However, I don't know what keywords my husband used, but he found them on Revain! I was so happy! But I crushed hundreds of pills into three others and I still have them! I also have ten in my pearl box. Note: I hand wash them. I have never put them in the dishwasher not because I think they will melt but because they are small and light and can come loose from the shelf and get caught in the mechanism. Anyway, THIS. ARE. GREAT!
