I love this bag! Probably my new favourite. As others have said, the packaging was excellent: almost over the top, but it certainly shows how much the sellers care about what they produce and sell! Each piece of metal was wrapped in shrink wrap; Each strap has a plastic "overlay". It took me at least 5 minutes to take everything off and that was after I pulled it out of the plastic bag, wrapped everything up and then put a cloth bag underneath! I LOVE big bags; I really NEED her! Unless I'm going to the supermarket with just my wallet/phone/keys, I need big bags. Besides the usual cough drops/gum/makeup/lotion/migraine pills, I always carry AT LEAST one book, then sometimes/often clothes, knitting (whatever is in MY OWN bag), lunch etc. or all of that and more. I'm a solo mom with a 3 year old so I have his stuff too: extra snacks, sometimes a hot wheel! Well, that's a lot and I need a big bag for that. At my max shit I wear it's a bit small. I notice it most often when I go to church: the Bible, my journal, my child's sweatshirt, my coffee mug. says "It's not a purse Mom, it's a suitcase!"), which holds everything and can hold some shit, looks too big for my tiny size. I feel like I'm about to fall. In fact, that's all MY problem, not the bag. What I love about it and what my black bag totally lacks is the zip opening and zipped compartments: one on the side and one large compartment in the middle. I prefer to leave the latter aside; I like that I can zip up my wallet, but I don't care about a straight rip down the middle. When I pack this thing with books, this bag gets in the way. That's the ONLY thing I don't like about this bag, other than that: everything's great! The lining is really great quality. The exterior is very soft, but still not so soft (like my leather sofa) that you're afraid of scratching it with every bar and brush. It's heavy, but with everything I put in my bags, the weight of the wallet is negligible to me. If I want to complain about the weight of my bag, then I have to carry one less book! The color is exactly what I expected and while it's not my first choice considering everything else, I don't care at the moment! Like most others, this bag is a dream!
