Initial Review September 15, 2021 The first thing that struck me when I got my hands on this flash drive was how smooth it feels. I think there might be a "pebble of concern" in my pocket. I always run CrystalDiskMark on memory cards and flash drives to see if they meet the written specs. The fact is that the data transfer speed is not indicated on the box of this flash drive. Only the Revain product page mentions 100MB/s. However, running CrystalDiskMark only showed 35.15 MB/s. At around $18 you might look elsewhere. A small flip-top protects the USB port when it's in your pocket. A small magnet helps keep the lid closed. In some places, the flash drive may not fit into the USB port because it is blocked by a hinged cover. I have a USB 3.0 hub with 7 ports. If 6 things were plugged into it, I wouldn't be able to plug this flash drive into the one available port because the flip cover prevents it from being plugged in. This can be a useful flash drive and you might like its design. But if you want it faster and cheaper, there are alternatives.
