I got this case for my new iPad 6th generation. I looked at so many cases and read so many reviews and I chose this case because of this feature. I haven't had this case in a very long time, only a few weeks, but so far these are my observations on the case: Pros: I like the purple color I chose. It's a really nice plush shade of purple which, along with the round hole showing the Apple logo, makes the case look really stylish. I love that I can rotate my iPad between horizontal and vertical views. This is a huge plus for me as I like it to be vertical when I'm reading a book and horizontal when I'm doing other things on my iPad such as just browsing the web or watching videos. I like the strap to secure the case after it's closed. This prevents accidental opening of the case when not in use. I like the stylus holder to hold my stylus so I don't have to search for it in my purse. The case feels pretty solid and the quality of the material it's made of seems to be pretty good. For the material and build quality of this case, the price was really good and not too high. Cons: There are really only three things that I feel are wrong with the design of this case. First, the "indentations" that are supposed to hold the iPad in place need improvement. The pits aren't deep enough or anything to hold the iPad in place. The iPad keeps slipping out no matter what slot or position I put it in. It annoys me when he slips out of the fountain at the slightest movement. After you have to put the iPad back into the slot after moving it several times, it starts to get on your nerves. I'd read several negative reviews mentioning this issue, as well as some that didn't seem to have any issues with it, so I knew I was taking a risk when it came to this feature. I don't know if deepening the indentations helps, but it may result in the case being a bit thicker and bulkier than it is. when it was done. This case is thicker than some other cases, but that thickness doesn't bother me. However, if it was a lot thicker/bulky than it is now, I probably wouldn't like it. The only other idea I could think of to solve the sliding problem was to put some kind of sticky material in the indentation to keep the iPad from sliding out. Another issue I noticed with this case is that you have to make sure the iPad is positioned correctly for the sleep function to work when you close the case. I had to open and rotate the iPad again to get the sleep feature to work after noticing that it was still on after closing the case. It would be helpful to know how to place the iPad so that it goes to sleep when the case is closed. I will probably leave this case because I like it.
