Very quiet and better instrument and distance separation (soundstage) than the SMSL M300 MKII which uses an AKM chip. Reason for 4 stars. When using Qobuz for some reason a song would play from time to time but no sound and the bitrate display would stay at 44.1 even if the song had a higher bitrate. I would close Qobuz and come back, then he plays. This doesn't happen with my M300. Maybe it's just a mistake. There is no documentation on filter modes. For reference, I looked at the Topping D50S. In any case, there is not much difference in sound quality between these filters. Besides, it's a beautiful thing.
