Okay, I've got a new car after 15 1/2 years and it has way too many bells and whistles compared to my 2002 New Beetle. At first I really liked them by the way Received quickly and went to try them on. I couldn't push, pull, wiggle, or wiggle them by the headrest post. I only have 1 inch of room and the hook portion is too stiff for me to bend to fit the rack. lol lol Now it's a few days later and I'm checking my headrest with a tape measure to order another flat purse hook. omg There's a little button to press and the headrest goes up. I never had to move them on my VW so never thought they could be moved. LOL I installed them today with no problems after raising the headrest. I put them on the passenger side to hold my purse as the new leather seats allow my purse to slide around (or the slick things they put on the leather). Not sitting in the seat at all when facing forward. Yes, they can reverse very easily. I was surprised I didn't feel them, but I'm small. 5 feet 3 inches. GOOD HOOKS for my wallet. Robust and durable in any case. Oh because I couldn't get them to work the first time I put them on a clothesline with the intention of hanging the masks in the sun to dry after washing. Well it works for these hooks too. More use than just a car.
