It's good to know what problems you might be facing before you click the checkout button included in your shopping cart. I prepared the tools I knew I needed (see photo above). Yes, you will need these tools to assemble this frame, so go ahead and gather everything you need. The useless wrench that comes with them is a waste of time and a "knuckle" (to put it mildly). Yes, you need a rubber mallet. In my case, I ran into a BIG error right out of the box! (See photos of the BENT post). Rather than sending this thing back or waiting weeks for a rack to be replaced, I just took my trusty hammer and hammered it into place to fit an adjacent rack. I ended up having a bit of a problem with that ugly patch when it came time to put the screw in. I loosened the other screw and was able to securely connect that end. Now for nuts and bolts and an honest review of this product. it"extremely strong"! I have a heavy iSerta Hybrid Queen mattress and it is well supported by this frame. I took the advice of a previous review and used a sheet on the bottom of the mattress, but there is no need to keep this mattress from shifting. Took a good 2 hours to assemble (due to a curved part that needed shaping). There was nothing complicated about it and the instructions were simple. (all fotos). In the future, if necessary, this frame can be easily broken and folded to move it. Decreasing, I will explain.
