Good price, good capacity, just need a few more compression straps

I've only run it a limited distance (about 25 miles) and so far it seems quite comfortable. I will know much more about this in a month (end of April 2014) when I finish the Camino de Santiago. It's fairly light and fits my 1.80m height well. It has a good capacity and a fair amount of whistles and bells. But he could use a few more. First, unlike North Face's smaller packs, it doesn't have two compression straps under the pack, which would be handy for carrying a sleeping pad or tent, even a sleeping bag in its own waterproof pocket. Secondly, it would be nice if the entrance to the main compartment was attached with a zipper on both the right and left sides, although this is not so critical. In terms of overall build quality, the fabric and zippers appear to be good. However, when I tightened the chest strap, it popped out of the fabric. It was easy to put back on, but the lesson learned is that it shouldn't be overtightened as it shouldn't be tight on the chest. It just needs to be sure that the shoulder straps don't move. Finally - and this is true of all backpacks, regardless of brand - don't believe them when the manufacturer says the side mesh pockets are easy to access so you can grab a water bottle on the go. Unless you're an acrobat, this bag is out of your fingers' reach. In summary, it's comfortable, fairly comfortable, moderately light and at a good price. Pack light and get a hydration bladder that this backpack is compatible with.
