I wanted a raincoat for our German Shepherd so I would have to do a lot less wiping and drying him when he comes back indoors after snow or rain. This coat is "PERFECT"! I didn't want to spend a lot of dollars because I wasn't sure if he would try to take it off or just chew it. Zeus didn't care. It didn't bother him at all. Today he wore it for about 2 hours here in Michigan. It's very light, only one ounce. It fits over your dog's head and you simply close the T-shape that runs under his chest. There is a lot of wiggle room. Our Zeus weighs 100 pounds. Its length is 28 1/2 inches, neck length is 25 inches and chest (girth) is 37 inches. I ordered Xtra Large. He came out all white from the snow today. We just brushed the snow off our coats. was completely dry. Just like the back of Zeus. I would definitely recommend it to any dog owner who simply wants their family member to be a little drier. much less shivering when they get back indoors.☆☆NOTE: the title says COAT but the description clearly says it is a JACKET for dogs.
