I read the reviews and although one of them mentioned that this blanket is not suitable for cats I thought if used as a middle blanket, would she be ok I also read reviews about leaving and knew it was going to decrease. I can't stress how much it shrinks. I ordered the largest size and after washing it (delicate wash, hand wash, dry without sheets) I set about making the bed. We were spreading the comforter over the bed trying to figure out the best way to use it in a smaller size when one of the cats jumped onto the bed. After each step, the blanket was pulled taut and we immediately took it off again. I'm not expecting a refund or refund as I know I screwed up looking after this but man it's NOT suitable for cats. As brief as your cat's interaction with this blanket may be, it's not brief enough. The blanket is SOFT and LIGHT. Follow the care instructions, keep your cat away. When that happens it's a fantastic beautiful blanket even if it shrinks from being treated with anything.
