This is a soft piece of warm down that wraps delicately around your neck to keep you warm, NOT hot! It's well done. It looks well done. It's so wonderfully soft that even my cat fell in love with it! What I didn't see in the description is that it's not a solid piece of soft fabric. The "collar" is sewn into a kind of mesh, which makes it breathable. This will keep you from overheating. If you buy this you will not be disappointed.
