This worked amazingly the first time we used it. It heated up quickly, and almost instantly calmed our screaming baby. The little pouch with the hand strap is really convenient.However. it's really impractical for future uses. It's got that little metal disc that you flex to activate the heating gel the first time, but from then onward it must be boiled to reactivate. I don't know about you, but when my baby is screaming in pain, I don't have the time or the wherewithal to put on a pot of water, wait for it to boil, boil the heating pack for 10-15 minutes, and then wait for it to cool enough to be placed on baby's belly.If this were redesigned to be microwaveable, I would absolutely purchase it and recommend it to every parent I know. As it is right now, I'd say don't waste your money.
