defective product best exhaust and emission levels

The heat shield melted from the clips in less than 3 minutes after the motorcycle was started and idling. I bought a second one for my friend because his friend bought one and had no problems. Once again, the heat shield melted off the clips in minutes. Terrible product and waste of money.
