Review on πŸ”— Softalk 01505 Twisstop Cord Detangler for Ivory Landline Telephones - Enhanced Phone Accessory by Tom Podolski

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Weak connection, poor quality. Stopped using after only 3 days.

I bought it for my home office. One of my biggest annoyances is the phone cord getting twisted and kinked after a day's work. First, the "twist" action simply rubs the two halves of the plastic together. Even before applying it to the phone, it didn't look smooth in any way, and I had immediate concerns. These fears were justified, since it brought almost no improvement. Normal operation of the tubing resulted in kinks and twists because the detangling sleeve was not rotating. On day 2 I decided to give it another chance. It may have been a placebo effect, but I left it on all day HOPING that it would "break" or start working. Day 3, I guess after 2 days or normal use he decided to sulk me. The "connection" between the two halves stopped working properly, like a broken headphone jack, I had to "HOLD" the jack in a certain position so that it could contact the listener. After picking up the phone and saying hello, I didn't hear anything until (like a locksmith) I slowly twisted the connector into the correct position to make it work. I quit about 3 hours a day. Useless.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Long time
