This backpack has been great so far. It was more than I was willing to pay, but the price was really right for a QUALITY wheeled backpack. My first year has been using this since the start of the school year (about 8 weeks) and it's great. Shows very minimal signs of wear, mainly due to the plastic strips on the front. The adult version doesn't have this feature and judging by how much this part of the pack drags on the ground I'm very thankful for that! The side water bottle pockets are a bit shallow. The reason I gave four stars instead of five was the 'free' lunch box. This backpack is available in children's and adult versions. It cost more than an adult but it came with a 'free' lunch box so I figured it was ok. However, the velcro is very close to being completely unusable, and the stitching on one of the strips has mostly come undone and is now held in place by duct tape. Big disappointment. The backpack is just the right size and weight, high quality, with excellent proportions and good use of additional zipped compartments. Uncomfortable to carry on your back for more than five minutes.
