I have a special application for this and it will probably take a lot of words to explain so please read on. I'll probably say a few things that are important to you. I bought 18 bars! I am renovating the guest room and adding a room divider to give guests a space that is less visible when the double doors to the kitchen are open. I doubt, of course, that anyone will engage in this, but the guests will take care of it anyway. This room has 3 windows and the room divider is also curtains that are weighted at the bottom to make them stable and hold their shape better. I wanted something that is NOT translucent but can transmit light. I ordered them mainly because they are cheap, but there were also many reviews that gave me confidence. Suggestion: Watch a video on YouTube about hanging curtains with eyelets. They give you the basics.1. These are very wide panels and only have 6 grommets. To keep them looking their best, you need a curtain rod that can be adjusted away from the wall. I had to change the attachment of the poles so they were far enough away from the window etc to hang properly. If you don't understand what I mean, ask a question in the comments below and I will answer.2. They let light through, but they don't see. I took it to the window to check and I can't see through anything. Some reviews said they were thin but they weren't. They may be light, they have no lining or foam on the back, but you definitely can't see through them. This was especially important when my baffle goes right next to the glass shower stall. If I had sheer curtains they wouldn't hide who's taking a shower would they? I'm worried enough to take a good look at these curtains.3. They are well sewn and washable. Children sometimes remain in this space, and dirty fingers find a way to touch something white. I will inform about the possibility of washing later.4. Through the windows is not a problem as there are blinds but I would like the light to come through with the blinds open. The thickness of this plate is neither too thin nor too thick, but just right for this requirement. The situation calls for curtains to keep the air circulating, heating or air conditioning to regulate the temperature, and a little air movement to keep it from getting too stuffy when you're away. These curtains definitely need a good, thorough ironing to look their best. They are badly dented from being folded and the nice zipped bags they come in. If you don't know how to iron, ask someone who does. As you can see from most of the photos here they didn't bother to iron. Well if that's what you want.7. After buying 18, there are some length differences. This can be a problem if you only order two and find that they are very different. I was able to adjust lengths with many of them with no problem. You can also strategically hide the mismatch behind furniture in some cases if you can't resolve it otherwise. I don't know if that's an issue with more expensive curtains. Of course, there was no way the retailer could look for an exact length match without taking them out of the box and then trying to fold them back in exactly the same way, which was quite difficult. This is not a problem for me as I simply hung shorter curtains on a window and made sure the 11 curtains going to the partition lined up perfectly. I weighted the bottom edges of the curtains on the divider so they hang snugly. For this I used 1oz fishing weights on each of the outer folds and this works well to increase the spacing between the folds. brackets on the edge. If you only open the middle it's not a problem, but if you want to open it wide and support hooks are in the way you'll need to take a ladder and pull up a pole to do so. not cool.
