Smells funny on first use - be sure to run into the big hackroom
I have to write, after I gave my initial negative review, VEVA filters contacted me and sent me a replacement and refund. They have truly exceptional customer service. These were first impressions of the filters: These filters are not the same quality as the original filter that came with my Hepa unit - I just installed them and ran them indoors for an hour. I came with my original filter and the air smells clean and fresh. With this filter I walked in and the room smelled strange, like a chemical smell which defeats the purpose of the filters. Update: And after using it for few weeks: Apparently it takes about 2-3 days to break. into it, and then all odors will be completely dissipated.
